The iDwaRF-Box expands the iDwaRF family by a powerful Hub module for wireless sensor networks with many sensors (255 sensors with the current iDwaRF-Net firmware version). The module is based on the same radio chip like the iDwaRF-168 module and provides an ATmega128 processor with 128kB flash and external 32kB SRAM memory, as well as a USB interface and a connector for an external antenna. See Infosheet for details.
Configuration:
The iDwaRF-Box provides an ATmega128 processor with 32k external SRAM, voltage regulator, USB interface, radio chip with external antenna connector (SMA), sd-card header (e.g. for wireless data logger applications), two push buttons and one LED. Optionally a Lantronix XPort can be mounted for simple ethernet connectivity.

Funktionen:
Scope of Delivery:
The iDwaRF-Box comes as fully SMD assembled module. The required leaded components (connectors, buttons, etc., except XPort!) are included as components kit and can be re-assembled upon demand.
Firmware:
For operating the iDwaRF-Box an external antenna (see below) is required, which has to be ordered separately. For PC connectivity a USB A-B cable is required, or an RJ45 ethernet cable for Ethernet operation. For programming the iDwaRF-BOX an ISP adapter with low-voltage target support is required.
